Judson W. Sherman (1808 - November 12, 1881) was a U.S. Representative from New York. Born in that State in 1808, Sherman completed preparatory studies. Held several local offices in Angelica, New York, where he resided. He served as clerk of Allegany County, New York from 1831 to 1837. Deputy treasurer of the State of New York about 1850. Sherman was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-fifth Congress (March 4, 1857 – March 3, 1859). He was appointed captain and commissary of subsistence of Volunteers on September 7, 1861, was assigned to duty with Brigadier General Wood's brigade, and resigned his commission November 9, 1861. He died at Angelica, New York, on November 12, 1881. He was interred in Until the Day Dawn Cemetery.
